We never forget to apply chapstick to our lips, or lotion to our hands to prevent dryness and cracking, especially in the winter, but we usually overlook facial skincare. Facials are often thought of as a luxury, but they are essential to maintaining your skin’s health!
As an esthetician at Fusion Salon, my job is to listen to your skincare concerns, and help you determine which products and services are going to benefit you! I will also teach you techniques to improve your daily skincare regimen.
At Fusion Salon, we have numerous options for facial services, accompanied by natural and cosmeceutical skincare lines customizable to your skin type. I begin my facials with a comprehensive consultation. After the consultation, I start each facial by cleansing and exfoliating the skin. Next is my favorite part—the massage! Once you are relaxed, I will apply a mask, and end the facial with a moisturizer to protect the skin.
Although this may sound like something you can do at home, it’s not as easy as you would think to properly cleanse and extract pores. Another benefit of a professional facial is the relaxation. We often undervalue the power of touch and massage. Facial massage increases circulation, relaxes facial muscles, softens sebum, sloughs off dead skin cells and reduces puffiness.
You owe your skin, and yourself, an hour of bliss, relaxation and rejuvenation. You’ll walk out feeling refreshed and glowing!
