“Help me I’m overwhelmed . . . I need support for myself or caring for my loved one.”

Aging In Place Senior Care Service

Over the last ten to eleven years many clients and their families have called our agency at their wit’s end, not knowing where to even begin. When we receive a call, we ascertain if we are able to help with in-home caregiving support or if we can refer the person to one of our peers in the senior care realm that might be able to assist them. Our goal is to help them find the resources they are looking for and accommodate their needs in order to find assistance.

The first question people have is; “What is in-home senior care?” It is a service that a person in need or the family contracts to help assist with a person’s companion or personal care needs.

The next question the client or family may have, “What services are provided by an in-home senior care agency?” Caregivers with our agency assist with activities of daily living such as: bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, ambulating, as well as, light housekeeping, meal preparation, food shopping and errands to name just a few of the many services and support provided by an in-home care provider.

They also ask; “How do I find the right in-home senior caregiver?” Upon contacting our licensed agency, clients are assisted by our staff in trying to find the perfect fit for their needs. With Aging in Place Senior Care Services, all of our caregivers are bonded, licensed and insured. It is our job to find the aide to support their particular care needs as well as the perfect fit for their personality.

The process is very simple, when contacting us you will receive a complimentary visit to discuss services and to assess your needs or those of a loved one. Aging in Place Senior Care Services discusses care options and allows you the time to process the information and let us know when you are ready to proceed with services if that is what you decide to do.

All of the office staff at Aging in Place Senior Care Services have had personal experience with our own family members with an array of conditions that required a great deal of support, including Alzheimer’s, dementia, kidney failure, heart failure, terminal cancer and several other conditions. Having endured the firsthand responsibility of providing care for our loved ones, it fuels our desire to help as many people as we can. We have empathy and compassion for what our clients are enduring and want to ease your journey in the aging process or help you provide care and support for your loved ones requiring additional assistance.

Many people feel overwhelmed and feel as though asking for help is a failure on their part. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I always share with potential clients and their families that there is no shame in needing help. Sometimes having an outside care provider is not only a respite for family members but provides an alternate source of socialization for them or their loved ones.

The most important thing for people to know and understand is that you are not alone. Every single one of us will encounter a time in our lives when we ourselves need help. We would otherwise be fatigued and exhausted trying to single-handedly take care of the needs of a loved one, mother, father or significant other. Know that Aging in Place Senior Care Services is here to help you on your journey. Please feel free to call our office 302-722-8240 and we would be happy to assist you.
