Dental COVID Health & Safety Precautions

With these unprecedented times come a lot of uncertainty and questions. As a mother and business owner creating a balance between staying safe and keeping myself and my family healthy both mentally and physically have become a daily challenge. Family comes in all shapes and sizes these days; spouses, children, parents; work family and patients I consider family in one way or another. I take their health and safety very personally and am never willing to compromise either. Here at Dougherty Dental Solutions we are committed to ensuring the safety of our employees and patients while ensuring that everyone keeps up on their dental health; which directly impacts our physical health. It is so important that we maintain our routine cleanings and checkups with dentists as well as physicians.

Here at 1805 Foulk Road, we are not only telling you what we have done to stay safe, but you can see it in action as well. On top of all of our routine sterilization procedures, we have completely renovated the office including the ventilation system to allow us to keep the office even cleaner. We are limiting the number of patients and employees in the office at one time. Every thirty minutes the office is wiped down including door knobs and counters. Please call prior to entering so that we can make sure everything is ready for you upon your arrival. You are greeted at the door by one of our wonderful front desk staff. They are always smiling under their N95 masks as they take your temperature and pulse ox when you walk in the door. Each time you visit a COVID form is completed to ensure nothing has changed since your last visit, even if it was just yesterday. When you are taken back into one of the treatment rooms again our wonderful assistants, or hygienists are there to greet you with a smile under their N95 mask and face shield.

With more unknown ahead of us, rest assured that we have your dental health covered. Don’t let any change become a true dental emergency. Please continue to allow us to help you stay safe and secure during this pandemic. Thank you for putting your trust in us, we are all in this together.

With Warm Regards, Laura Dougherty, DDS & The Dougherty Dental Solutions Team
