Hello! My name is Jackki Kennedy and I am the Founder and President of the MDP Cancer Fund, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, which hosts “The Kennedy Black & White Ball.” The Ball is an annual black tie fundraising event given each year at the beginning of November whose proceeds are exclusively donated to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center at Christiana Care’s Cancer Special Needs Fund. This special fund stands in the gap of what insurance covers and what a patient may need, and can cover anything from transportation to babysitting and wigs. The Helen F. Graham Cancer Center is one of the nation’s leading institutions in research of and care for, cancer. I was treated there during the most recent of my five bouts with breast cancer, and received the most excellent care through the various programs and services offered.

As a survivor, and having lost two sisters to this dreadful disease, I have a burning passion to do my part to help find a cure and help those who are currently afflicted with cancer. The MDP Cancer Fund, and The Kennedy Black & White Ball (KBWB) are the embodiment of my long-time vision and goal to support and contribute to a community that has been so good to me. Please help me as we continue fighting cancer and aiding others!
