Driving past the corner of Lovering and Lincoln in Wilmington, DE, mom and I commented that corner had so much potential.  The space became available.  We pondered could we operate a small café?  We loved to cook.  I had connections with local farmers and vendors.  We decided if we didn’t give it a shot then we would always wonder.

We dreamt a little café where people could enjoy chemical free food sourcing as much as possible from our local farmers. Creating a peaceful environment with food options for vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters, and food allergies.  Community could gather sharing their art, crafts, music, books, and ideas.

We often joke it was a temporary moment of insanity.  We were terrified yet excited. We created our dream and the community began to fill our chairs and hearts. We are grateful to be living this dream and providing real food to our community.

Fresh Thymes, a quaint cafe nestled near Trolley Square , Wilmington, DE provides a local, organic, & seasonal food experience.  Operated by a passionate mother-daughter team providing nutritious food made with lots of love.  We also provide gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options.  We look forward to meeting you soon!
