Second only to whiter teeth, the next most common desire our patients have is for straighter teeth. The ironic part of this request is that most of these patients had braces when they were younger, but their teeth have gone back to being crooked again.

This coming May, I will celebrate my thirtieth year of practicing dentistry. During that time, I have had the privilege of doing hundreds of cosmetic procedures. The objection I have most often heard to cosmetic dentistry is sitting through the process of having to prepare (or drill) the teeth.
