NAWBO Delaware is a dynamic statewide chapter organization with national presence and 10 years of committed service to women-owned businesses. We are the only business organization in Delaware exclusively dedicated to meeting the needs of women business Owners.
Our members reported annual gross income ranges from $100,000 to $2.5 Million, adding to the nearly 10.4 million women-owned firms nationally that employ 16% of the workforce, generating about $3 trillion in revenue.

As we enter a new year, NAWBO Delaware is gearing up for programs that focus on helping you grow your business. Through upcoming public policy events, networking with decision makers, and informational programs, this year’s program committee aims to fulfill NAWBO Delaware’s mission –– to enable women business owners to grow by coming together to share mutual experiences, exchange information, and develop business skills.

As we say goodbye to 2011 and welcome 2012, Downtown Wilmington showcases why it is vibrant and exciting as ever with existing favorite hot spots for entertainment, grabbing a bite or a drink, listening to live music or shopping for a unique gift. But there are some new elements in downtown for 2012 that will also enhance the city.

Glazar Brothers is celebrating 64 years in the HVAC business. We are also celebrating 10 years as a Trane Comfort Specialist, being one of the first ever in Delaware. What is a Trane Comfort Specialist? The Trane Comfort Specialist certification means the independent Trane dealer is of the highest standing and committed to being the best in every aspect of his or her business, from installation and service, to customer satisfaction and employee training. Not every dealer qualifies as a Trane Comfort Specialist, but rather only those that meet Trane’s stringent standards and demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and continuing education.

It’s easy to get caught up in the magic of holidays in Delaware. Everyone seems to be in a better mood, and all of the hustle and bustle – including shopping, parties, and visiting with loved ones – makes the cold weather a little easier to bear. Of course, making merry has its price, as travel can be especially dangerous during this time of year.

Tis the holiday season once again and Downtown Wilmington is dressed the part for the month of December. Wilmington Renaissance Corporation (WRC) and its partners have worked together to enhance the festive feel of downtown, bring more holiday cheer to Market Street and make shopping easier.

FoodEase is family owned and operated by Cathy Hagan and Camie Bailey, former owners of Super Suppers Wilmington. After five years operating as franchisees with Super Suppers, we discovered our customers would prefer us to assemble their meals instead of the original Super Suppers model of, “make your own.” With that said, we are excited to announce our official changeover to FoodEase.
