Servicio Fresca is a local woman-owned business in West Chester that specializes in residential and commercial cleaning services. They are a proud certified partner of “Cleaning for a Reason,” a nonprofit organization that serves all of the United States and Canada. Their mission is to give the gift of free house cleaning to women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. Their overall goal is to let these brave and strong women focus on their health and treatment while sponsored companies, such as Servicio Fresca, focus on, and take away the worry and work of cleaning their homes– free of charge.

Owner, Astrid Martin, was honored as one of the top 100 companies providing service in 2016 and 2017. She donates her time, her employees’ time and pay, supplies and travel at no cost to the women. Astrid’s mother passed away from Lung Cancer in the early 2000s which is why she holds this cause close to her heart.

Astrid was asked why she partners with Cleaning for a Reason. Her response: “Just to see someone else smile. These women are fighters. Most of them with tons of responsibilities and a family to take care of. It feels good that I am able to take some load off of them while forming a friendship with these incredible women.”

Astrid’s goal for the future? She wants to help! She wants to spread the word!  If you have a woman or women in your life that are suffering from the effects of cancer, please direct them to CleaningforaReason.org.

Servicio Fresca continues to show their support for the community by providing these services as well as sponsoring events and teams in the area. They specialize in commercial cleaning services such as schools, offices, churches and more. Visit Servicio Fresca’s website for more information:
