Chiropractic Naturally Helps Your Children
By: Dr. Brenda Fairchild, D.C.
Chiropractic is NOT the treatment of condition or disease,
but rather the restoration of the body’s function.
During birth, a child’s spine can be stressed or injured. While growing up, falls contribute to traumas to the spine, muscles, and ligaments which can create strains, loss of curvature of the spine, and weaknesses. The spine is checked and if it is out of alignment it is ONLY then when the adjustment will occur. The nerve interference is removed allowing the body and brain to communicate better. The adjustment of an infant is different than that of an adult. Only mild pressure of a finger tip is used on a baby.
Symptoms your child may have that can
BENEFIT from Chiropractic Care:
• Frequent Ear Infections
• Difficulty Breastfeeding, Especially to One Side
• Bed Wetting
• Colic
• Unexplained or Frequent Crying
• Chronic Colds
• Hyperactivity
• Allergies
• Fatigue
• Stomach Aches
• Sleeplessness
• Delayed Motor Skills; Crawling or Walking
• Neck and Back Pain
• Headaches
• Scoliosis
Back Pack Care
Did You Know Your Child’s Back Pack Should
Weigh 10% of Their Body Weight?
A back pack should NEVER hang lower than 4 inches below the waistline. This can cause your child to lean forward when walking which can cause poor posture leading to back pain and headaches. Pack the heaviest books to the back of the book bag, closest to the child’s body. Use BOTH shoulder straps, one on each shoulder and use the waist strap if your bag has one. If your child likes to only use one shoulder, you may look into a sling bag. It will have better support than a back pack over one side.

Testimonials:
I have only been a patient of Dr. Brenda Fairchild for a few months but she has helped me out significantly. I am currently pregnant so I need a chiropractor who was Webster Certified. I went in with constant back pain to the point I couldn’t walk or stand for more than 5 minutes without doubling over in pain or having to sit down. Now I can go through a whole day with no back pain!! Dr. Brenda is very friendly and full of information, she even takes the time to talk to my kids, who by the way, absolutely adore her. ~ Rebecca Z.
I visited Dr. Fairchild for constant pain in my lower back and within just a few visits was feeling significantly better! Her gentle nature, thorough attention, and ability to listen to her patients about their pain and injuries is what makes her an outstanding healer! I have and will continue to recommend her services to anyone who is truly seeking relief from spinal pain and discomfort! ~ Sincerely, Jill K.
