Saint Mark’s High School offers each student a unique blend of academics, arts, athletics, co-curricular activities, college scholarship opportunities, affordability and excitement, creating a high school experience that is unparalleled in the area.

The private campus is spectacular with 45 acres of land, situated just off Kirkwood Highway, minutes from Newark and easily accessible from Routes 1 and I-95.

The co-educational program features five distinct academic levels and Delaware’s largest Advanced Placement program.

With the assistance of on-staff college placement counselors, more than 97 percent of Saint Mark’s graduates attend college with many awarded scholarships and grants to the school of their choice.

Saint Mark’s remains one of the most affordable private or Catholic high schools in the area, and is committed to helping parents afford an outstanding education for their children.

For the 2011-2012 school year, nearly $1.5 million in need-based tuition assistance and academic scholarships will be offered.

“We strive to keep our tuition lower than other private schools in the area while still providing the services our school families have come to expect” said Director of Admissions Clarice Kwasnieski. “However, we realize that even though our tuition is competitive, some families still need help,” she continued.

Due in large part to the generosity of donors to The Fund for Saint Mark’s, more than $1 million is earmarked for need-based financial aid every year. Saint Mark’s also offers academic scholarships recognizing students with high ability as well as The Principal’s Scholars Program—an academic program designed to provide students with truly outstanding aptitude the opportunity to compete for a full tuition scholarship to Saint Mark’s.

For more than thirty years, Saint Mark’s graduates have been encouraged to “go forth from this school to create a better world more
pleasing to God and more helpful to man.”
