“How Sharing a Spa Experience can be a healthy, healing, loving, learning & fun experience!”
Question: How many of you think that couples treatments are only for a romantic relationship?
Answer: Most of you do. According to the International SPA Association’s research, most people consider treatments with 2 people – “A Romance Treatment”- only meant for couples in a romantic relationship.
Myth #1: Getting men to the Spa is hard to do.
According to ISPA, male spa-going demographics are increasing, with nearly a third of all spa-goers being male.
Myth #2: I am not in a romantic relationship- so, I can’t book a “Duet Treatment.”
You do not need to be in ANY romantic relationship to enjoy a “Duet Treatment”- taking along a close friend, co-worker, mentor, or family member is a terrific way to connect and share a healthy and healing experience at the Spa.
As we enter into the Romance Season of Valentine’s Day, and begin the Spring Season where Mother’s Day and Weddings/Anniversaries and Special Events abound,
now is the time to think about creating special memories, celebrating Love, and keeping our resolutions
to live a healthier lifestyle!
What better way to express that than with a” Couples Treatment”- or “Duet Treatment” at the Spa- this will create a memory and experience that you will both enjoy and remember- that can help to celebrate and mark any special occasion.
You should choose a Spa that not only offers great treatments—you want a Spa that can offer fabulous experiences-
remember, a go
od Spa should stimulate all of the senses- sight, sound, smell, touch, taste, and spirit. When booking a “Duet Treatment”- you should always try something new- even if you love the Hot Stone Massage, try the Heated Bamboo-Fusion Massage- to enhance your experience- and, that of the person you are with. Also remember, “Duet Treatments” are not limited to Massage- most reputable Spas offer “Duet Treatments” in all modalities; Facials, Body Treatments, Manicure/Pedicures, Hair Treatments and even wellness programs such as “Duet Yoga or Reiki”. Also, in “Duet Treatments”, you both do not need to get the same thing; 1 person can get 1 type of Massage, another person can get another- OR – 1 person gets a Massage, while the other get a facial, etc… the possibilities are endless! Trying to lose weight in the New Year? Instead of taking your co-worker, mentor, family member, good friend out to lunch/dinner- why not try “Duet Treatments” at the Spa? No eating involved- and, it is a healthy way to bond without the drinks and food!
Finally, when booking your Spa treatments, ask about the “Duet Rooms”- many Spas have multiple “Couples – or Duet Treatment” rooms- each with their own distinguishing features and decor- there may be a price differential for which room you choose to be in, so be sure to ask the Spa Coordinator this when booking your “Duet Treatments”- you can also book multiple treatments for two, and even create a “Spa Day”- spending the whole day at the Spa- and, order a Healthy Lunch! Whichever you choose,
booking a “Duet Treatment”- could be one of the best ways to celebrate the New Year,
the Spring Season, to say “Thank You”- or “I love You”-
and really, isn’t that what life is all about?
