Hansel & Gretel, Delaware’s #1 Children’s clothing store, is fully stocked and ready for all your holiday shopping needs. High quality classic children’s clothing is available for infants through size 12 for boys and girls. Our huge inventory includes dresses, sportswear, hats, coats and shoes for girls, suits, sweaters, sportswear, ties, and shoes for boys. But that’s not all – accessories are very important.  We carry an amazing selection of tights, sock, hats, gloves, headbands, bows, and bonnets.

Owners, Carol Harvey and her daughter Jen Lee shop the New York and Philadelphia markets several times a year to bring customers and the very latest in children’s fashion. We hand pick every item and work with over 400 vendors to keep the store fresh and well stocked. Our store manager, Jamie Russ, who has over 14 years of experience, is the best and we pride ourselves on customer service.

In addition to beautiful baby clothing including preemies and newborns we also have wonderful baby gifts. Select from Gund toys, blankets, and Madame Alexander dolls just to name a few. We keep a large selection of christening outfits for boy and girls plus shoes, socks, bibs, and shawls. We also monogram.

Birthdays are big at Hansel & Gretel. We have outfits for boys and girls, birthday hats, birthday bibs, and special birthday gifts. We also carry matching raincoats, boots, umbrellas, and backpacks.  Our “big girls” section, size 7 – 12 is especially popular.

We know the girls want style and bling and the moms still want them to “look their age”.  Communion and weddings are another specialty. In the spring we stock beautiful white dresses, viels, shoes, jewelry, and gloves. Year round we show a wide selection of flower girl and special occasion dresses and we are always happy to custom order. We also carry tuxedoes and Eton suits for the ring bearers, knee socks, and black and white saddle shoes. Children can come in and try on sample sizes. Everyone who orders from us says “That was easy”!

Looking for a special toy? We carry Gund, Melisa & Doug, Infantino, North American Bear, Madame Alexander, and Steiff  along with a bookcase loaded with seasonal books. We have music boxes, tea sets, pull toys, automoblox, and  puzzles. The hottest new thing for Christmas is watches that slip on with interchangeable faces.  We love our toys!

We’re a true boutique – our clothing is unique. When you need something “special” think of us. We’re conveniently located on the Concord Pike in the Talleyville Shopping Center. As one woman put it when she first found out store “ Thank God – I didn’t know a store like this existed.”

She’s right, not many boutiques are left. We’ve been here 45 years serving not one, not two, but now three generations of loyal customers.
