Electrician
Electrical Plus, West Chester PA
laura@electricalplus.net

Female electricians are not very common throughout our area, but here in West Chester there is one very special one. Her name is Laura Scott. Laura Scott’s profound fascination of becoming a electrician began on a family missionary trip to Jayuya, Puerto Rico. She participated in a electrical project with her father that helped kids at a summer camp. They made sure the camp was safe for the kids and replaced the incandescent lights with fluorescent lights in the cafe and the common area. This mission trip led to hard work and dedication to get where she’s at today. Laura attended vocational school in high school and then went on to Delaware County Community College to receive her certificate of competency in the electrical field. With her dedication and perserverence, she is now a electrician at Electric Plus.  She began working there in April of 2008 and she loves it there. She says she feels like she’s “one of the guys.” Being a female electrician feels natural and she really enjoys what she does. She claims that the best part of the business is helping customers make improvements to their homes and at the same time, save them money by installing energy saving products on their homes and businesses.
Laura is also very athletic, she enjoys snowboarding and skateboarding. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, family, and her pet bunny, Jellybean.

WIP_Carmella Gabellino Schultz_AM10Carmella Gibellino-Schultz

The Permanent Cosmetics Studio
www.permanentu.com

Beginning in 1978 Carmella’s flair for hair began by attending the Delaware Beauty Academy. Since then she has followed a long line of cosmetologists. Carmella worked at Majo Hair Studio for many years with her two sisters, Madelyn and Lynda, and her mother, Carmella.  In 1996 her dream of opening a school specifically for skin care became a reality when she opened Delaware’s first aesthetic school, The Skin Care School and Center.
Carmella’s journey into permanent makeup began in 1999 out of curiosity simply because she was allergic to topical makeup. She had eyeliner done, got hooked and decided to begin practicing the art of permanent cosmetics. Carmella’s training has been in Canada, Texas, Belgium and Philadelphia and she believes that continuing education is a key to success.
Carmella is Board certified by The American Academy of Micro-pigmentation and holds Certification with the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals.  Holding both certifications makes Carmella one of only a dozen technicians in the country to hold both certifications. On top of that, Carmella has been a member of the SPCP, The Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals, and has the pleasure of being a lifetime member. Her passion for permanent cosmetics, along with her fun-loving personality keeps her clients coming back for more. She makes sure each and every one of her clients are satisfied with her work, down to the last touch up. She has helped many women look and feel beautiful, from permanent lip color that won’t kiss off, to eyeliner that won’t smudge.
