Designing custom wedding gowns can be a challenging and time consuming task, depending on how complex the gown will be, but with years of experience Mira has the ability to bring your dreams to fruition. The first step of the process, an initial client/designer meeting, allows the client to explain what she is looking for in a wedding gown by bringing pictures of wedding gowns. Of course, the magazine clippings are optional: The process can also be accomplished without the visual reference. Mira discusses with the client what type of style and shape the gown will have and if necessary, any other detailing, such as beading or lace.Magic Fit Tailoring Custom Dresses

After the initial meeting, the client can shop fabric stores to find their ideal fabric for the gown, otherwise the fabric can be ordered straight from the boutique. Typically, Mira is able to finish a gown within two to three fittings. Of course, that depends on the complexity of the gown.

Most brides-to-be would never guess how simple the process of ordering a custom-made gown can be. Moreover, it’s shocking how affordable Mira is able to make the process. Gowns start at $250.00 and go up depending on the details and complexity of the design. There are many obvious benefits of having a wedding gown custom made. Some women prefer flashy and over the top gowns, while there are those who prefer the simple white wedding gown. Whatever the style, Mira has the passion and experience to bring it to reality for the wedding of your dreams.

It all depends on the bride’s personality, but the gown should not overpower the bride. “You have to wear the dress, not the dress wear you,” says Mira.

Mira Jasharha has always found a fascination towards fashion. As a young girl, she would take leftover fabric scraps from her mother and then turn them into clothes for her cats and dolls. She received her first sewing machine when she was fourteen and has been designing clothes ever since.

Mira was born in Yugoslavia where she graduated with an Economics degree. Afterwards she started her own business creating custom-made dresses. Unfortunately, after hard economic times, the business had to shut down which forced Mira to leave her mom and dad and move to America with her children. Mira originally stayed in New Jersey with a friend, but years later moved to Delaware where she became the custom wedding gown designer of The Bridal Boutique in Milford, Delaware.
