FruitFlowers® of Delaware, located at 1900 Newport Gap Pike in Wilmington is blossoming for the upcoming holiday season. Partnering with Lamberti’s Cucina of Prices Corner, FruitFlowers® is branching out and will also be operating an additional location in the Christiana Mall in Newark, DE from October through the New Year. The store is located on the lower level in the former Lindt Chocolate store (near Talbots, Pac Sun and Express). Lamberti’s Cucina and FruitFlowers® will be offering “an explosion of flavors”.

FruitFlowers® is famous for their beautiful bouquets made from freshly cut fruit, including red, ripe strawberries, juicy pineapple, sweet grapes, kiwi, succulent cantaloupe, and honeydew. FruitFlowers® will also be offering assorted chocolate dipped fruits such as strawberries and apples along with other tasty chocolatized treats like chocolate dipped Oreos, marshmallows, pretzels, and graham crackers; satisfying the health conscious as well as treating everyone’s sweet tooth.

Lamberti’s Cucina will be offering gift certificates, imported olive oil and olives, and balsamic vinegar – all perfect gifts for the foodie on your holiday shopping list! Lamberti’s Cucina will also offer daily selections of takeout items including awesome appetizers, exceptional entrees, and sinful desserts for the shopper on the go or to take home to the family.

The partnership of Lamberti’s Cucina and FruitFlowers® held a soft opening on Saturday October 17th and celebrated the official grand opening of the Christiana Mall location on Monday, November 2nd. The celebration included family, friends, and well-wishing professional colleagues. Representatives and members of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce were on hand to make the event even more exciting by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony! Attendees enjoyed an afternoon of delicious samples of homemade bruschetta, mini cannoli’s complemented with chocolate dipped pretzel nuggets, and chocolate covered strawberries. Yum!!

“We have had a very exciting Fall so far and we are looking forward to continuing down that path into the New Year!” says Lorie Marrella, owner of FruitFlowers®. “In September and October we participated in the Restaurant Festival and the Chili Festival in West Chester, PA through our Chester County location on Gay Street in West Chester. “ Susan Talluto, FruitFlowers® co-owner added, “Then we followed it up with The Philadelphia Food & Wine Festival and Macy’s Shop for a Cause in three Macy’s locations.” On top of all that, Marrella and Talluto coordinated fundraising efforts to support the Delaware Breast Coalition, surpassing last year’s donation!

The retail store at the Christiana Mall can only spur the momentum FruitFlowers® is experiencing! “We can showcase our beautiful bouquets that can be used to celebrate every day life events such as birthdays, anniversaries, get wells, births, and sympathies, basically for any occasion or no occasion at all!” says Talluto. On display will also be seasonal items such as the Berry Christmas Tree™, Sleigh Bells™, the Dazzling Tulips and Daisies™, and the Festive Hanukkuh™ along with many other holiday offerings! The Christiana mall FruitFlowers® location will also offer customers alternative for late night pick up of items.
