During my lifetime I have been presented with tremendous opportunities, a true privilege, to learn from great teachers and from the tumbles that life presents. Whether my view is from grandma’s lap, looking into a child’s eyes or from a cave nestled in the Himalayan mountain peaks, one commonalty I have noticed is that a nourished “garden” holds the answers.  This concept may at times be beyond our intellectual comprehension, but this “garden” represents an unseen healing power and life force within the body waiting to be remembered and unleashed.

Today, modern science is proving that everything is made of energy, including our bodies. So what is this energy? Energy is found everywhere, but can not be seen, touched or smelled; it is the life force in all living things. We are constantly exposed to elements that deplete our energy, such as cell phones, computers, electromagnetic machinery, and processed foods. Since we take in vital life force through food, water, air, our physical environment, and even skin care products it is no wonder that people suffer from headaches, stress, fatigue, skin problems, digestive disorders and general body inflammation. The body is inner woven with closed channels that interconnect to allow this life force to flow throughout our bodies, like the sap in a tree.

If these channels or meridians become blocked it disrupts this flow, and may lead to imbalances which over time manifest into a corresponding effect in the physical body. Blockages result from long forgotten childhood injuries, a meaningless fender-bender or from the loss of a loved one. We process, analyze, journal and visit the gym, but sometimes the body does not fully release the old memories or distortions, lodging them in our physiology.

Living in a world of genetically modified food, synthetic toys and artificial lifestyles, we are in the midst of an explosion and demand for beautification and harmony, done the natural way. Various healing modalities such as Reiki, massage, acupuncture, reflexology, cranial-sacral therapy and others, exist to restore our balance, further personal growth, and reduce the telltale signs of stress and aging. These profound healing methods submerge the body into a state of deep relaxation to facilitate self reflection, calm an overactive mind, and allow you to become more interconnected. When this healing vibrates with our energy we see an effect or change: a centered, revitalized, and more beautiful you. If we ignore these energetic realities of life, balance and rhythm are difficult to maintain.

Combining energetic therapy with a sound nutritional foundation releases the blooming power of your “garden”, and your own body’s healing ability. You begin to relearn, remember, and reaffirm your gifts, strengths and talents that have been lying dormant in your “garden”.
