It Was a Sunday of SOIREE SHOPPING, Modeling, & Tons of Fun!
I throw a soiree for my clients from time-to-time as a means of thanking them for their patronage, friendship & continued support. They are always held on a Sunday from 3-6 p.m. “My clients deserve to be celebrated. A soiree in their honor is one of my favorite ways to do just that!”
“I don’t know who enjoys these events more – my clients or myself.” During the soiree there are door prizes to be won, refreshments to be enjoyed, modeling of new styles in apparel, accessories, jewelry, etc., and tons of absolute F-U-N! “Did I mention special markdowns?” To some, this may be the best part. Clients receive their frequent buyer coupons through the mail. They bring them to the soiree to redeem on regular & sale priced apparel and accessories. Jewelry is not included. Their guests share in the receipt of the markdowns that are in effect during the soiree. Sounds of elation are guaranteed at the checkout counter! This is understandable. Let’s see….deduct sale price, deduct special soiree markdown, redeem frequent buyer coupon…for a final purchase price of…E-L-A-T-I-O-N!!!

Something very exciting happened at this particular soiree. Laura Winn-Chestang, (Strike-A-Pose Boutique Model), modeled several new pieces–dresses, skirts, blazers, mix & match coordinates, etc. Then, all of a sudden, guests and clients joined in the modeling. They actually modeled and purchased styles of personal interests. What a great way to reiterate the Strike-A-Pose mantra…”Do Y-O-U!”
