Here are 10 tips to help you stay healthy this holiday season:
- Put exercise on your holiday to-do list
- Spend at least 30 minutes between 3 and 5 days per week on cardio and strength training
- Eat in moderation by limiting the number of servings
- Eat smaller servings during meals
- Don’t skip meals such as breakfast
- Substitute holiday snacks with fruit and vegetables
- Minimize alcohol intake – moderation is key
- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated
- Keep an exercise journal to track your success
